A look back at the Club meeting of 03/21/2023

The Club des Industriels de l'ARD MATEX meeting took place on March 21, 2023 in Chartres. Ateliers Loire, a family-run business, welcomed MATEX members to showcase their activities in the restoration of church stained glass.

The craftsmen showcased their expertise in stained glass and glass slab techniques. The company regularly innovates, and also works with other techniques such as thermoforming.

A review of news and developments relating to members of the joint MATEX Industrials' Club was held on the Eure-et-Loir Campus premises.

A new, more interactive format was offered in the afternoon, with posters of MATEX projects and informal exchanges. In all, 12 posters were presented by doctoral and post-doctoral students involved in the projects. An interesting networking session!

The day ended with a visit to the CEMHTI laboratory. We were able to discover the laboratory's activities around processes such as the controlled growth of nanoparticles in glass for optical applications and on substrates for solar cells, glass thermoforming and the study of grisailles for stained glass.
